Frances Balogh (signed) Abstract Still Life Painting, Oil on Canvas, year unknown

American born, Canada based artist Frances Balogh was an active and well respected member of the Women’s Art Society of Montreal as well as the Women's Art Studio for many years. She made countless art pieces in a variety of mediums and worked for 17 years at the National Film Board of Canada. Her art piece “The doll” was featured at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts in 1972.
